Additional profile fields allow your organization to collect and store custom patient information beyond the standard demographics data. User's Guide
Viewing Additional Profile Fields
Additional profile fields appear in the patient demographics section of the patient profile. When your organization has configured custom fields, you'll see them alongside standard demographic information like name, address, and phone number.
Populating or Editing Custom Profile Fields
Patient metadata custom profile fields are located within the demographics section of a patient's profile. These fields can be populated or edited through the edit modal in the patient demographics section.
Additional profile fields are customizable and support various input types tailored for specific data collection purposes.
Text Fields - These fields allow for open-ended responses, such as entering details like occupation, preferred communication language, or emergency contact notes.
Dropdown/Select Fields - These fields provide predefined options for users to choose from, such as insurance type, preferred appointment times, or referral sources.
Date Fields - These fields are designed to capture specific dates, such as a next of kin's birthday, significant medical anniversaries, or preferred appointment dates.
