Managing Service Area Zip Codes for Practice Locations

Introduction
Service area zip codes allow you to filter which providers appear in your referral directory based on geographic location. This feature helps practices manage their referral networks by controlling which providers are visible to users based on specific zip code regions.
User's Guide
The service area zip codes setting determines which providers appear in your referral directory. When zip codes are configured, only providers in those specific areas will be visible. If no zip codes are set (empty brackets), all providers in the directory will be visible regardless of location.
Configuration & Set Up
To configure service area zip codes:
Navigate to Settings > Practice Locations
Select the practice location you want to configure
Locate the
serviceAreaZipCodessettingEnter zip codes in the Value field with the following format: [11111, 22222, 33333]
To remove zip code filtering:
Navigate to the same setting
Enter empty brackets in the Value field:
[]Save your changes
Users may need to refresh their browser to see the updated directory
FAQ & Troubleshooting
Q: Why aren't certain providers appearing in my referral directory?
A: If providers aren't appearing, check if their zip code is included in your service area zip codes list. If you need all providers to be visible, remove zip code filtering by setting the value to empty brackets [].
Q: How do I add or remove individual zip codes?
A: To add zip codes, include them in the brackets separated by commas. To remove a zip code, delete it from the list, including its comma and any extra spaces.
