Introduction

Patient communication verification text and emails include a Privacy & Security link that can be customized per customers in Constance > Config.

Step By Step

Set Custom Privacy Link

  • Locate and copy the custom/external privacy link that will be replacing the default link

  • Begin in the Schedule View

  • Open settings using the triple line menu

  • Locate and open Config under the Constance section

  • Scroll down to locate the PATIENT_PRIVACY_LINK section

  • Paste the custom/external privacy link in the Value field text box

  • Select Save

  • Ensure you see the Live settings updated successfully at the top of the page

Reset Privacy Link to Default

  • Begin in the Schedule View

  • Open settings using the triple line menu

  • Locate and open Config under the Constance section

  • Scroll down to locate the PATIENT_PRIVACY_LINK section

  • Select the Reset to default hyperlink located below the Value text box field

  • Ensure the Default Link displayed under default column is appears in the Value text field

  • Select Save

  • Ensure you see the Live settings updated successfully at the top of the page

Test Custom Privacy Link

  • Create a test patient 

  • Add a phone number during creation

or

  • Add an email in the registration view after creation

    • If in staging or dev environment ensure the phone number or email is listed in organization settings allow list 

  • Ensure you receive a text message or email that contains a link request you verify your point of contact

  • Click on the link to open up the Privacy Disclaimer in a browser window

  • Ensure the privacy policy link navigates you to the custom URL

TIP: If you use an already created test patient you may need to delete any previous contact points to add the one you wish to test.
