Update Your Logo, Background Image, or Staff Photo

You can update your organization logo, background image, and staff photos directly in Canvas Settings.

Before you begin

  • Use a public direct image URL or upload the image directly where supported.

  • Use .png or .jpg/.jpeg files for best results.

  • For staff photos, use a square, high-resolution image.

Update your logo or background image

  1. Go to Settings > Organization under the Practice heading.

  2. Find the image field you want to update, such as the Logo or Background Image setting.

  3. Upload the image directly if the upload option is available for your environment.

  4. If direct upload is not available, paste a public direct URL to the image into the appropriate field.

  5. Save your changes.

  6. Refresh the page to confirm the new image appears.

Note: Practice-specific images may be managed at the practice location level.

Background gradient

The Background Gradient setting uses gradient code rather than an image file. If you want to update the gradient, enter the required gradient value in that field instead of uploading an image.

Update a staff photo

  1. Go to Settings > Staff under the Practice heading.

  2. Select the staff member you want to update.

  3. Find the Photo field.

  4. Upload the photo directly if the upload option is available, or enter a public direct URL for the image.

  5. Save your changes.

Staff photo guidelines

  • Use a high-resolution .png or .jpg file.

  • Format the image as a square for the best display.

  • A file size under 50 KB is recommended.

Troubleshooting

The image does not appear after saving

  • Refresh the page after saving.

  • Confirm the image URL is public and links directly to the image file.

  • Confirm the file format is supported.

I do not have a public image URL

If you do not have a publicly accessible URL for your image, you can upload the image file directly to Canvas.
